Rotating chimney cowls are devices dynamically using wind power to support chimney draft. The construction of the base (small diameter of the turbine) enables mounting the base on the series ventilation chimneys. The patented method of mounting the base by means of a press fit allows the mounting of the base without any tools. They are mounted on the chimney vent of gravity ventilation.
The capacity of the base is proportional to the speed of the blowing wind and is not dependent on its direction and angle of attack.
Application:
– support of gravitational exhaust ventilation
– when there are swirls at the outlet of the chimney
– with unfavorable terrain configuration, strong and frequent winds
– in the absence of a stabilized chimney draft or when it is too small
