FID C is a one-dimensional fire protection shut-off valve (S version) with a thermal release. It is intended for installation in general ventilation installations, in the place where these installations pass through building partitions, ceilings and walls. During fire, these fire dampers make it possible to preserve the fire resistance of the building envelope through which ventilation and air conditioning ducts are routed.
The flap housing is made of galvanized sheet steel, 1-1.5 mm thick. The cut-off barrier is made of a silicate-calcium plate (or gypsum – flaps with a surface area of up to 0.3 m2) with a thickness of 40 mm, which is embedded in a tin reinforcement profile with a thickness of 1.2 mm.
During normal operation of the installation, the damper partition is in the open position. In the event of a fire, the damper’s partition moves to the closed position.
Mechanism:
– electric actuator with spring return series BF, BLF, 229, 239 or actuator series EXBF for 24V AC / DC or 230V AC voltage with thermoelectric trigger 72oC,
– Mercor type release and control mechanism type KW1 equipped with an integrated 72 ° C thermal trigger, drive spring, lever-cam system. This mechanism can be additionally equipped with a 24V DC or 230V AC electromagnetic release (controlled by a current pulse or a current interruption) and limit switches to indicate the position of the fire damper partition, as well as an actuator for setting the damper in the Mercor KW waiting function for voltage 24V DC or 230V AC,
– Mercor trigger and control mechanism type RST equipped with a drive spring. In this case, the thermal release is fitted in addition to the damper mechanism on the partition itself.
Optionally, thermal or thermoelectric triggers with different operating temperature can be used in mcr FID C flaps.
The dampers are produced in the following dimensions: width from 200 to 800 mm, height from 200 to 400 mm. In addition to standard dimensions, it is also possible to make indirect dampers.
