The Split air conditioner line was the first to adopt solutions from advanced VRF systems, which consisted of simultaneous temperature and pressure control. The use of an additional sensor in the new LG aggregates, which directly analyzes and controls the pressure and temperature of the refrigerant, has improved the equipment parameters in terms of precision and work efficiency.
LG canal air conditioners are equipped with ESP technology, i.e. linear control of available pressure. Controlling the ESP value makes it easy to control the amount of air supplied with the remote controller. The BLDC motor can control the fan speed and the amount of air regardless of the available static pressure. Therefore, there is no need to install additional equipment to regulate the air flow.
The room temperature control is carried out using two thermistors – one located in the controller and the other installed in the indoor unit. This helps to precisely determine the actual ambient temperature and adapt the air conditioner to it.
The large compressive pressure and its smooth regulation allow the use of medium-pressure channel air conditioners to distribute air by a ventilation system. As a result, it is possible to supply warm or cool air to several rooms at the same time or in selected zones of open usable space.
The height of the medium-pressure channel air conditioners is only 260mm. It is a perfect solution in rooms with limited installation space. Thanks to the clever housing design, maintenance and service are very easy. There is no need to open the entire panel, because it is divided into two parts – one for access to the heat exchanger, the other for the fan and motor. Filter replacement is equally easy.
