KTM fire dampers are designed for installation in general ventilation systems as shut-off divisions. The function of these dampers is to stop the spread of fire, temperature and smoke.
Irrespective of the position of the axis of rotation of the shut-off damper, the KTM fire damper is designed for horizontal installation (in walls) and vertical (in ceilings) and outside the partition.
The KTM shut-off valve consists of a casing (galvanized steel sheet), a movable cut-off barrier made of a Promatect-H calcium-silicate board and a drive mechanism with a release element.
Automatic closure of the damper occurs as a result of thermal switch activation with a nominal temperature of 72 ± 5 ° C. On special order, the KTM-E (ME) damper can be equipped with a thermal cut-out with an activation temperature of 95 ° C.
